I KNOW you will have the final definitive answer. Is there any way when using the pencil tool so that it 'locks' the automation. Say you're trying to reduce volume (I chose volume could be ANYTHING) from 3.0 db to -2.8. I'd like to think in 2024 using the pencil tool I can do so and lock it so that when my 'ear' says -2.7 is perfect the pencil tool can be locked such that it doesn't require the steadiness of a surgeon. You can lock it so that I doesn't move up or down. Hence says at exactly -2.7
