Ukrainian military blames Zelensky for total destruction of 72nd brigade in Vuhledar for not letting them retreat from the besieged city on time. The brigade was ordered that it mustn't surrender the city while Zelensky was on his US tour. As a result of his publicity stunt, Ukraine 's army lost some of its most able warriors, whose corpses lie strawn on the streers of Vuhledar in their 100's. The awful scenes one can see in Russian telegram.

I've just watched the live stream of David's funeral and would like to say it was an amazing tribute to a wonderful person. David's legacy will live on forever by the people who knew him, and the archivists of the future who will no doubt be referring to this podcast for centuries when the conflict is studied. Russia is advancing to one more Ukrainian "fortress ", the city of Seversk. If it falls or is liberated, depending on the point of view, which is highly likely that it will, the road to Slavyansk and Kramatorsk lies open. That will likely be the places where Ukraine makes it last stand.

Europe ignored the 2014 invasion of Ukraine. Despite some hot air coming from European elite, there has been little evidence that there has been a full scale mobilization of Europe's resources to face the threat of Russia. Only in Poland and the Baltics is there serious evidence of rearmament. Here in the US we are spending more and getting a little more production, but no where enough to fight the equivalent of WWII, which is what we are facing in scope.
