Maruti Suzuki Is producing mileage efficient cars but in terms of Build Quality, it is lacking way behind. Where other Brands such as TATA, Mahindra, Volkswagen etc. are focusing on 5 Star Safety ratings, Maruti is still engaged in reducing it's weight. Maruti Swift's weight reduced from 1000 Kilos in Gen-1 to just 875 Kilos in Gen-3. Also Safety rating of some of the cars are as follows-

Maruti Ignis - 1 Star
Spresso- 1 Star
WagonR- 1 Star
Swift- 1 Star
Alto K10 - 2 Star

Only Maruti Brezza and Grand Vitara are the cars with 4 Star Safety ratings.

I own multiple car brands ( ciaz, creata, xuv 700)
but best experience is maruti only
after sales, millage, low maintenance, excellent resale value....go for tata or maruti only.

Car driving skills are required when it comes to driving on roads. Accidents occur due to human negligence. Cars with low ratings are driven flawlessly in other countries as well. I wonder why more videos are made to critisize a brand rather than driving using senses. If people understand the value of following traffic norms, am sure nobody would critisize any vehicle. fYI, Maruti is still favourite of majority of Indians due to its pocket saving, services offered and non complex mechanism giving a smooth and comfortable ride.

I think Suzuki never targets rich customers. They target customers from middle class who rides scooters and motorcycles. And in my opinion cars are safer than scooters and motorcycles
