I had Microlinks and Brazilian knots by a professional and both methods grew my hair out. These types of extensions should be installed and taken out by a professional only. I did not experience a headache because the installation was not tight on my scalp Nevertheless, your hair is gorgeous in this video

That headache is what stops me from getting microlinks. Plus, my scalp is very sensitive to metal. I can’t wear bobbie pins pushed onto my scalp. They have to be suspended between my hair.

The way you just pulled that link out your hair... that's not ok. Maybe if you had them professionally installed and removed your experience would be better.

Im professional who wears and does microlinks..My man has pulled them and they dont come out..Also the headache means your doing them 2 close to your scalp..❤

There is no way around it those techniques were created by humans with straighter hair textures. Extremely high maintenance, and especially micro links I absolutely hate because the curlier your hair like 4 c it knots around the beads. And if you are wearing wash and gos or twist outs and you accidentally snag it at the base it’s going to pull that whole section out from the follicle
