Reuben Kigame - Never Alone (Official Music Video)

I wrote this song back in 1999 but recorded it two years later at New Life Sound Studios in Goshen, Indiana. I was at the lowest point of my young adult life, full of despair and at the point of suicide. While on a music tour in the United States, a bout of meaninglessness hit me so hard that I excused myself from a meeting we were supposed to attend as a music team and convinced my wife then that I needed to rest. She was the custodian of the music team's first aid kit which had a lot of medication. I tried to look for the box to do what I had planned, but could not find it, hence my plan aborted. Sometimes that is how God saves us from foolish mistakes and choices. The entire 'Never Alone' album tells my story during this season - e.g the first track 'I've been Searching' recounts how Jesus Christ ended my long search for truth and meaning during this season. 'Sweet Bunyore' recounts my situation of being "lost in a world that is lost." This particular song, 'Never Alone,' sums up the resolution of my crisis. Isaiah 41:10 was God's answer to my situation. I share it here with everyone, but especially with those that have been or are where I have been.
