Canada Caregiver Pathway Pilot Program 2020 | Education Credential Assessment | (Part 3 of 5)

ECA: is a process by which international academic qualifications are reviewed, verified, and compared to Canadian educational standards.

There are only 5 approved assessment provider and are designated organization by the immigration that does the assessment of your Education Credentials and these are the following:
1. Comparative Education Service – University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies
2. International Credential Assessment Service of Canada – ICAS
3. World Education Services – WES
4. International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS)
5. International Credential Evaluation Service – ICES

The estimated processing time for each applicant really depends on how fast you comply the requirements. Usually your application will only begin when all required official documents from the institution you studied are received and accepted by the organization that you used, WES/ICES/CES,ICAS/IQAS

And because of this Pandemic – most of this approved assessment providers are experiencing delays, as well your institution, so pretty much everything is delayed, all you can do is, to always follow up.

For ECA immigration only processing times as of October 03, 2020
CES – 15 weeks because of Pandemic
IQAS – 14 weeks
ICES – 16 weeks
ICAS – 30 weeks
WES – 35 business days

Listening 5.0
Writing 5.0
Speaking 5.0
Reading 5.0

IELTS General Training - Required CLB
Listening 5.0
Writing 5.0
Speaking 5.0
Reading 4.0
