sipping a cup of tea watching the fashion bunker with you guys, bliss!. the golden age of chanel( eighties in my head ), and you know dacob, that rich gold yellow almost orange plating, opulent and decadent. you both mention Jeremy Scott could bring a touch of fun and whimsy to chanel which is true but In my mind I imagine tom ford bringing that over the top richness, opulence back to chanel, that decadence which almost borders on tacky but done just right, reminiscent of the eighties, if you get what I mean. I could see him reintroducing us to rich golds again but in a new and modern way. x

I know you can't say but...Marc Jacobs waiting for .... something on Rue Cambon? Just a guess. I agree about keeping Dior Elegant and not Italian. These old houses from the 40's and 50's should always have the DNA of the original designer or why bother with the name? YES SuperDacob for Chanel ... I would flip my wig if that happened. You know I would buy Balmain for H&M only if it looked good on me and of course it would be just a "fun folly". This was a treat to watch...Hi Greta!! loved it

cool new concept bringing Greta into the mix. Great video really enjoyed it. Btw your new setup is really cool would u be so kind to share what you use from the camera and lights and also how u setup that background... reason is i have a bit of a problem now when i come from home its already dark and i cant film :( during the weekend sometimes no time and also like to go out during the day. So need to look into something to setup in order to film in the evenings.

love these videos about the current fashion world! Personally, i loved what Raf did with Dior but I look forward to him focussing on his own label..Raf menswear when he started was out of this world!

H&M does poor colabs..poorly made and too much replica'ing if you know what i mean. Personally, Uniqlo produces far better colabs

Don't think Raf left because of money. I'm from Belgium and he's very down to earth. Think he really wants to focus on his own label and he has also said that he wanted more time to make a collection. He had to make too many collections in a small amount of time. He did an amazing job & sad that he's leaving

regarding raf and dior parting ways is like an epiphany! instead of hiring another creative director, why not bring back galliano. i know it is mostly impossible but its like a titanic movie situation. were we already knew the ending but we still want a happy ending rather than reality that occured.

Alber!! haha (he would never take it, though) - and what about Giambattista Valli? I feel like he could be a good consideration too...Raf is not materialistic enough to leave for money and with Dior's healthy sales they would have paid anything to keep him happy -but I will speculate that he took on Dior because it was a personal challenge and it proved to be a formidable one, Raf has never worked for a huge corporate conglomerate with as many moving parts as Dior (Jil doesn't even begin to compare), whether it was his naïveté or cockiness, he thought he could tackle 6 collections/year at Dior and still do Mens at Raf --and he did! he succeeded too (sales don't lie), but all that success at the unforeseen risk of straining his creativity? - I would argue that Raf, while at the helm of Dior was great. His approach was very intellectual, restrained, yet forward thinking, he introduced us a completely different Dior girl - some may argue he alienated that girl, but I think every designer should bring something different that is why its Dior by Raf and not by xxxx the difficulty seems to lie in finding a balance - is it better to move away from reworking the "codes of the house" and belaboring a sketch from the 50's/60's ad nauseam or do we evolve and introduce new ideas... is it a remix or a karaoke?
