Does it mean that each ECU VIN can only be assigned once? Because right when you click program ZUSB, the dialogue comes up asking if you want to proceed, and it did say " it can only program 1 time, proceed?"

Is Jbbf81 specifically for changing the Vin or does it differ from car to car. I picked up a new cluster for my e82 with lower miles and from what I read, the car will take on the my original miles but also would show the tamper dot because the Vin's wouldn't be the same. So by going into JBBF81 and changing the vin to the cars vin would correct this? Much appreciation in advance.

That’s updating the module but how do you change the vin number if your using a used module on your car that has the vin from the other car?

I changed ecu, ews box and keys after losing keys of my 9/2000 facelift e39 with M47D20 engine (vp44 pump) and car doesnt start and doesnt give any error codes. Is the pump and ecu somehow mixmatched?
