Let us assume that root 3 is a rational number
Now let route 3 =a/b, where a and b are co-prime and b ≠0
Squaring both side
(√3)² = (a/b)²
b²3=a²
b²=a²/3
a² is divisible by 3
a is also divisible by 3
Let a=3m for some integer m
√3=3m/b
Squaring both side
(√3)² =(3m/b)²
3=9m²/b²
b²3=9m²
b²=9m²/3
b²=3m²
b²/3=m²
b² is divisible by 3
B is also divisible by 3
We can conclude that three is a common factor of both a and b
But this contradicts out supposition that a and b are co prime
Hence, √3 is an irrational

Co-prime numbers are pairs of numbers that do not have any common factor other than 1. There should be a minimum of two numbers to form a set of co-prime numbers. Such numbers have only 1 as their highest common factor, for example, (4 and 7), (5, 7, 9) are co-prime numbers.

Bol sakte hai kya ki It contradicts the fact that LHS = RHS
