The Buff she needs is the ability to pickup her thorn mollies and make them automatically detect someone if they are stepped on (bc its the enemy's fault if they cannot see a giant ball of thorns on the ground, it has a pretty big visual detection range from enemies)

personally, what keeoh said at 3:37 is exactly how i tend to play every game, and its super helpful to have this mindset. go into the game not with a "im gonna play whats good" mindset, go into the game with a "im gonna make my own playstyle based on what i find fun" mindset

I feel like people’s understanding of sentinel roles have been diluted to flank watchers on attack, which i don’t think Vyse is. In my head, i see her more as someone who can help get you into site while also being able to anchor said site. She’s the initiator sentinel hybrid no one expected to be created!

some vyse lore that might be there from the voice lines so far:

kingdom researcher who studied robotics, former coworker of viper and friendly enough to call her by name
may hold something against killjoy, maybe kj took vyse's position as head of robotics in kingdom?
sympathizes with omen (huge speculation: was turned into a radivore by experimentation by scions of hourglass in a process kind of like how omen got his powers)
may have been captured by either omen or iso for hourglass prior to either's defection
still not agent 8 because she didn't seem to recognize the agents that chased her in the reveal (jett, omen, yoru weren't kingdom employees and chamber was a contractor at best)

characterization seems very pragmatic and no nonsense, seems to only respect brimstone for experience and appreciates breach's utility at best over his character, laughs at kj wearing bright yellow into a battlefield and also calls out every sage voice line in existence :P

If her thorns activated when an enemy gets close enough to them instead of needing to be activated, she’d be my favorite character easily. Even if it showed when they’re within 10 meters and only activates when they’re within 5, she’d be so much better

you can use vyse's flash as a stationary version of skye's flash. it lets you know someone is there and it's on cooldown. it's like a weakened sova dart that blinds the people it detects instead of highlighting them
