The fact that it comes with a drum stool and kick pedal puts it ahead of most other entry level kits.

I'm a total beginner and I have the exact same kit. The Doom Metal setting converts the hi-hat pedal into another bass pedal.

I heard war pigs, my dad and I used to jam that song when I was like 13, he was so stoked to have somebody to be on the drums for it. This thing sounds surprisingly decent and accurate for $420, crazy. Great playing as usual

I play the drums for over 50 years, swore by my Ludwig set and my Zildjian cymbals and look down on anything that weren't traditional drums. Having seen this video I humbly and unabashedly admit that I was close-minded. I still have my full set of Ludwig's, but I am very tempted to buy this set. Great video too!

Here it is a year later and I finally picked up this kit. Black Friday sale for $360.

I have picked up sticks in like 25 years, so I got a lot of practicing to do. If we had this back then, I never would have given it up. None the less, I'm in love. Can't wait to plug it into a DAW.

Thanks for unboxing, assembling, demonstrating the sound of each pad and playing the preset songs. By doing so you gave us a great idea about the set. In doing so I’m leaning towards making a purchase of this same set. I’ve had a Yamaha electronic kit for years which is starting to go out. Instead of finding replacement pads I think it’s best to invest in the donner set. Thanks for sharing.
