Here is the ragtime classic The Enetertainer by Scott Joplin on piano. In this easy version of the first section of the song you can learn to play this song using dropping notes in the piano roll or synthesia method. This is a perfect format to use for beginner piano players. This lesson shows the left hand and right hand parts using different colors which makes it simple and quick to learn.

PRACTICING TIPS:
*Start slow. Don't feel like you need to get through the whole song in one shot. Take it in parts. Use the rewind button to listen to tricky parts multiple times.

*Look for patterns. You may notice that the notes center around chords or move in a particular way, up or down the keyboard. Pay attention to those things as it will help you learn the song more quickly. The left hand is very focused around chords. Pay attention to the chord patterns and chord progression.

*Start with one hand at a time. You don't need to learn the whole song with both hands right from the start. Listen to the video and do just one hand. Once you've got it, switch to the other. Only after you can do both hands separately equally well should you attempt to play them together.
