i liked leonard in the early seasons a lot, since it also showed his intellectual side, it showed that hes also a well respected scholar in his field. during the later seasons, everything about him involved penny or sheldon, his identity as a scientist was lost. they should have showed more of his work side

At first, I thought Leonard was nerdy, geeky and dweeby, but, after a while, he began to grow on me. Him wanting to be more outgoing, sociable, not wanting to be seen as a nerd or geek and willing to try new things made me admire him and take a liking towards him.

I liked Leonard back in the early seasons where he were really smart, My favourite Leonard moment from season 1 is when he were asking Penny and agreed to go out with him after she broke up with her boyfriend in the season 1 finale.

7:00 gosh, sheldon really is just terrible. Which means Jim did great in this role.

I like to think that Leonard was also why Penny got a bit meaner over time. Leonard treated Penny really good which allowed Penny to see that the way she was treated before Leonard was wrong and she shouldn't take it.
