I do a ton of work for the local Toyota dealership. I was at the parts department waiting for something and I asked the old dude (who had been working there for 25 years) how many people buy superchargers. He said that they had only sold 1, in 20 years. I told him that the salesmen there really suck at their jobs then. He agreed. Dealer installed major horsepower boost, under warranty, and nobody buys them there? Those salesguys are morons. Talk about an easy upsell.

Although the superchargers for the 4Runner are much easier to install, I'm looking for a low-mile 4.7L V8 to swap into my '19 TRD Off Road. They both cost about the same to do, but the V8 is just WAY cooler... 👍🏻 Love your upgrade though !

These hater comments are from just out of college poors that havnt created some middle class life experience for themselves yet. The 5speed will handle it allll day long as its same trans in the ISF lexus behind 450hp. The trucks run mid 13's with these blowers....nobody cares about masturbatiom RWHP dyno numbers to justify the 'cost'. These v6 4 runners will smoke a '93 Cobra or a Silverado 6.2 or ecoboost 3.5TT crew cab omce boosted...become FUN and stay reliable unlike a big 3.

You also HAVE to get the Banks Pedal Monster to remap the throttle and shiftpoints $300 the wow factor w tuning is the same as getting the blower day 1...have mine set to Sport +3 daily driver on 34's runs amazing. No more manual downshifting the truck is perfect w maggie and pedal monster w stock 3:73s. NO reason to 4:56 gear it unless your really trying to wheel it 50% of time w a mid travel on 37+ rubber and a house on the roof w A-Team tank bumpers.
