Hello boys Do you use a cloudlifter CL1 with the Rode Procaster? If not try it, it gives the Rode Procaster a fantastic boost. Just an idea.

The mic sounds very good. The voice sounds rich and clear. Rode is great :)

I don’t even need a Rode Podcaster mic but I’m still watching because I just really respect these guys.

The Procaster has an internal pop filter, review should have shown why the $70 add on was necessary.

Will I have to use Cloudlifter or any Mic Activator with RODE Procaster?

If you want to go the digital route, my advise is: Don’t. Just don’t do it. I have gone that way with a Blue Yeti, and it simply doesn’t pay off, even with that mic. I have now switched to the analog route, and i dont want to go back.

Hi, Jim. Thanks for the great review. What pop filter are you using on the Procaster?

People are usually listening to podcasts at 1.5 times speed? I would love to see a statistic on that.

There is a clear difference between the two mics you are using in this video

If I purchase the Rode Procaster but decide I don't want/can't spend $70 for that metal pop filter, would you say a normal mic pop filter works well enough to not make the quality go down?

I didn't realize how much Tac went into getting good audio

Only 67 views guys, you need to push traffic to your Youtube. Great video.

Only a weirdo listens to podcasts at 1.5x times speed. Some say that people that do
This aren’t to be trusted and should have their hard drives checked. In this case the audio technica sounds better, the guy using the rode sounds horrible.
But again maybe people who listen to a podcast on how to make a podcast need it cause they listen at 1.5x speed.

this fails as a review on one point - the guy did not read the instructions = Rode clear states that the mike has a built in pop filter and to not use an external pop filter as shown in the video ...
