okay how to make your hair look good in school esp. strict ones
even im an indian; my hairstyles and tips are:

(first your hair should be good, soft, healthy no matter if it's curly, wavy or straight)

*1. Wash hair once or twice (mostly) a week*

☆ Before hair wash, apply coconut, rosemary or olive oil.
☆ Detangle your hair (using bamboo brush if possible) to avoid hair breakage before head bath
☆ Use scalp massager for 1-2 minutes or just massage your hair with your fingers gently
☆ Don't forget to emusify your shampoo before applying it on your hair! (making it foamy by rubbing it in your palm).
☆ Avoid putting conditioner on your hair roots. also after conditioner, wait for 1-2 minutes before rinsing it out
☆ Shampoo twice!!!
☆ ⚠️AVOID HOT WATER!!
☆ You can use serum after drying your hair (optional)

*2. Hairstyles:*

•French braids: Ik indians hate this but you dont have to apply oil all the time and tighten your hairstyle because it looks bad and greesy in school and can cause hair breakage if it's too tight. You can loosen up the hair roots area and it'll look really pretty too if it's naturally a bit messy

•Ponytail: Again, dont apply oil in school and dont tighten ponytail. Loose it up. you can try low ponytail or high ponytail, whatever suits your face.

•Pigtails (if allowed): Short hair pigtails are adorable. Usually try low pigtails. and dont apply oil and dont tighten it.

•1 plait: Make it loose and dont apply oil (god im saying this again and again) seriously tight ones can damage hair especially for dry hair

•Bangs/Curtain bangs: I know many schools dont allow it but if they do, it's not a bad idea! style it based on your face shape! curtain bangs (i have them) look good with all the hairstyles i mentioned above

☆ Confidence is key.
☆ Stay hydrated. (2-3 litres per day)
☆ Moisturise skin and face regularly.
☆ Wash your face. (every morning and night before bed time)
☆ Take care of your health and diet.
☆ Dont eat junk all the time.
☆ Apply lip balm, chapstick or 🌷vaseline🌷.
☆ Smile.
☆ Be positive and kind.
