Not the best way to accelerate in a Subaru with a CVT. I know, ive had them. They arent designed for this, thrashing them to the red line. I never needed to do that, and still made good progress. Nobody needs to get to 60 mph as quick as possible. Why do people think they do ? Let the speed pick up gradually.
