Words can't really get across the feeling of living alone, opening your front door and seeing things not where they are supposed to be. The brief moment of confusion before realization followed by the rapid onset of fear as you wonder if whoever did this is still inside. I imagine the emotions are even more complex when you're an internet personality and there's the very real possibility you were targeted rather than it being a random act of robbery.
