(I'm assuming since Sheer uses Citation and Trust Flow. Which are metrics created by majestic.)

I picked up SheerSEO on AppSumo a few months ago as a way to cover my bases, so I had some time to watch it track my site keywords. I'm not really an SEO person, nor is my site made with SEO best practices in mind, so I can't comment on how well it does the job compared to other tools (except for Nozzle and Ranktracker, which I also have--Nozzle is my favorite of the three, even if it's the hardest to read). The two components your video missed that SheerSEO not only does well, but does differently than the others, is the ranking limit and the toxic backlink checker.

With the rankings, the other keyword tools (and I think this is true of others I haven't used) track only up to 100 positions. SheerSEO tracks up to 200, so as long as your keyword ranks 200 or less, you'll get a position update. It also has a mini-graph next to the position to show its "history, " though its tiny and unimpressive, and I've seen better in the other tools.

For the backlinks, if you go back to the main selection, you'll notice four tabs at the top of the page. This allows you to explore other components of your backlinks, including "toxic backlinks" that harm your site score. It also gives you a way to flag them so Google can work on removing the follow tags from them (or something like that). Also, I think your explanation of "guarded links" doesn't quite match up with what I understand about what that feature does. I believe guarded links means that you're telling Google not to mess with them when it does whatever it does to rate backlinks. The SheerSEO store page or Q&A does a good job explaining how all of this works, so anyone interested should do some reading. But the backlink series on SheerSEO is essentially the reason I bought the tool, and what gives it value among the sea of other similar tools.

Just thought I'd chime in. Great job with the video overall. I learned some additional things that I hadn't yet explored just by watching it. As I said, I don't really do SEO, so I haven't made the most of the tool, but this video gives me ideas. Again, great job.
