Wine Country Counties Sue Governor Newsom Over Outdoor Dining Closure

A coalition of dozens of restaurants and wineries in Napa and Sonoma are now suing the state over the closure of outdoor dining, saying there’s no evidence that outdoor dining has led to any increase in COVID-19 cases.

Have you been to the mall as of late? It’s packed! How is the transmission during an outdoor dining service more harmful than an indoor gathering of shopping strangers?!?! How much money are these big box retailers paying Newsom or the state of CA to be allowed to stay open? Do you know why the top health officials for the state don’t say anything? Because they know it’s true - they don’t have the proof or evidence to prove outdoor dining is harmful but they don’t care when there is cash flowing for the malls to stay open.

Sad to think they're forced to beg for outdoor dining. They should demand full ability to operate their business and livelihood. Me and my girlfriend have both lost our jobs twice this last year. Imagine the hundreds of others as well in our town alone who have also, and then extend that across the state to restaurant workers and owners! This has got to end.
