THIS business advice changed my life

Most folks would agree that there is a massive delta in size between Schuyler, Nebraska where I acquired my first business( a mobile home park in 2019 which I still own) versus Tampa and South Florida where my team and I are currently growing our home services business- Brighter Utilities.

It’s an EVEN LARGER gap between Tampa and the Tier 1 cities of America (NYC, LAC, CHI, BOS). Both in size AND the difficulty to establish yourself with a small biz.

This is the exact reason I urge all of my clients who aren’t extremely well established in the small business world to choose a tier 2 or 3 city to begin their journey. It doesn’t mean you have to stay there forever.

Btw there doesn’t seem to be anything “Tier 2” about my view from Water Street 😎
