Such an excellent and thought-provoking presentation. Great insights into tools that all scientists should employ. I’ll be honing my Nemo stories.

Would it be possible to put a super electric winch on the moon to take the space shuttle into space without fuel? My second idea would be a giant magnet. 😅

imagine that harpoon with rope that we see in movies only on a larger scale. You fling him through missiles to the moon and then a mechanism on the space shuttle goes rolling the rope taking the space shuttle into space. I know the idea is crazy, but would it be possible? 🤪😅

Cordial saludo.

*_"...life cycle of a mission from its start as a crazy idea..."—mine (but I don't think it's crazy): Grand Nuclear Space Cruiser (clean-nuclear even if not used on Earth) with multinational versions (sell hardware, technology, construction plans, science, university courses) and a GNSC-Fleet to span the solar system to '80 AU'..._*

Will they still create artificial gravity in space? Are you planning to build something in orbit? Would artificial gravity help the body be more resistant to space? In orbit could they strengthen the ship's armor to increase protection against radiation? Would not it be better to use only cameras to see the exterior of the ship?🤔

watch the live stream of them "working" in a "Sterile" work environment as 13 guys stand around with their personal phones recording 3 dudes actually doing something.... no wonder it cost so much and takes so long for this agency to accomplish even simple task. shame on you
