I have around 40 hours in the game, not including all the time I put into the beta. It's so fun to just chill around in. It is so weird the things that they are way better than me at and the things they are nowhere near as good as me. The logic puzzles they often tend to smoke me, it usually takes me at least twice as long as it takes them to solve the star puzzles. But then the things which are almost common sense to me as a well-versed gamer seem to elude them.

Watching Simon and Mark collaborate on puzzles here makes me want to see them do sudoku collaboratively. They're great at it separate, but they definitely have a chemistry with one another such that seeing them work together is quite nice as well.

Uh oh, seems like Simon's hooked now lmao. Seems like the first person as well as just getting used to it may have helped his motion sickness a little, figured in the last one the 3rd person probably wasn't helping on that front. I'll definitely have to make sure to show up on time for the next time you guys stream this because it's been fun to watch. Feel free to keep playing off stream, I recommend just sticking to the overworld and saving enclaves for on stream.

Just dropping in to say your first stream inspired me to get the game, I started playing with YouTube running, got to the Glass Temple just before you (I had great examples to follow!), and was STILL stuck one the 5 Hidden Relics puzzle you got to at 1:45 when you got there. That took FOREVER!

For the armillary rings, it helps a lot to press the right mouse button to zoom in so you can aim you click in the tiny gaps when they appear.

This stream used first-person perspective, while the first stream used third-person perspective: do you find that first-person perspective helps reduce your motion sickness?

Oh does this mean you won't be continuing Islands of Insight? There's still quite a few puzzle types to explore and very difficult puzzles with the rules you already know that I was quite excited to watch you play!

I don't know if it's due to youtube but the game still seems to be in 720p rather than 1080p

I feel like if you can handle this you could handle The Talos Principal. But then I don’t know what triggers it. I have a fear of heights and most of this gives me the heebee jeebees but the Talos Principal is fine.

Simon, you really need a 3 monitor setup for better streaming! The game on one, the steam on another, and chat or mark on the third!

I’d enjoy a playthrough of a game called Braid. I think there is a remake coming out in April and it’s widely known as the father of modern puzzle games and is a fantastic 2D side scroller that’s only a couple hours long

There are some folks that may have put 100, 200 or more hours into the game, but I think those are just people striving to be completionists. I've put 100 hours into Zelda too, but that doesn't mean it is required. If you wish to streamline your live shows, then just focus on the islands and unlock new puzzle types. The puzzles do get more intricate and there are many different types. Avoid the randomly generated puzzles in the main area, unless you see some that are more difficult and you are up for the challenge.
