Magda Berliner is a Los Angeles native whose eponymous, women’s ready-to-wear collection launched in autumn of 2001 with a small poolside presentation in West Hollywood's Sunset Marquis Hotel. Enthusiastic editorial response from Italian Vogue, W Magazine, Nylon, NY Times Magazine and others, put the label on the map, highlighting the collection’s unexpected juxtaposition of textiles and silhouettes (e.g. metal, leather, lace, crochet). The collection was immediately picked for distribution by top international retailers such as Barneys NewYork, Joyce Hong Kong, Louis Boston, L'Eclaireur, Loveless Japan, etc.

For the last eighteen seasons, Signature Berliner has been the composition of vintage lace and crochet bits that Berliner reconstructs into unique, covetable dresses and skirts.
