I listened to a female radio talk host accuse a man of mansplaining during a gun control discussion.
The guy was very patient, and explain in plain English.
She dismissed everything he said and accused him of mansplaining.
I think she really preferred to be ignorant of the facts rather than try to understand what he was saying
