i’ve watched a lot of youtubers talk about books the past year but i just love how you’re always so enthusiastic about the books you love. it makes me so excited to read

My reading goal for 2022 was 6 books (because I was only getting back into reading after having dropped my reading habit years ago and I wasn't sure how much I would manage). I surpassed that goal at the beginning of April. I ended up reading 44 books which is a huge deal for me and I'm so proud of myself for rebuilding my reading habit. (My new goal for 2023 is 24 books because I have no idea if 2022 was a fluke and I want to keep my goal easy to reach so it doesn't stress me out and ruin the fun)
My average rating was 4, 34 stars so either I was just having an incredibly good time or it's because of how picky I am about which books I pick up 🙈
I read the most amount of books in July and I read 16 books within the first half of the year and 28 books during the second half of the year. I also read mainly romance books during the first half but mainly fantasy books during the second half. No idea why my reading changed like this throughout the year.
I read 15.222 pages in 2022 (somehow that number is so satisfying to me) and the longest book I read was A Conjuring of Light by V. E. Schwab with 624 pages!

My reading goal for 2022 was 15 books and I read 24 books, so I'm really proud of myself. I read a total of 8, 752 pages and my longest book was Pet sematary.
I have bumped up my goal to 40 books for this year, hopefully I'll be able to reach it.

I love to hear about reading stats, it’s always so interesting! I read 255 books this year (that includes a lot of audiobooks though, because I spent a lot of time commuting to my campus last year 😅). My shortest book was 13 pages, Mirror and The Maze by Renee Ahdieh and my longest book was 980 pages, Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J Maas. My average rating was 3.7 stars. This year my main goal is to read more/most of my physical tbr, because the number of unread books I own is getting a little ridiculous. Love this video as always! 💙

I have a really good epic fantasy rec :)! The Shadow of the Gods. It's action-packed, it has two strong fmc, and is overall just amazing + the cover is sooo great. Would love to hear ur opinion on it!
