This is a tip on how to get Software List ROMs working in MAME.
Software List ROMs are the ROMs that work with the computers and consoles that MAME can also emulate in addition to Arcade games.

One thing I forgot to mention: make sure to add your sl folder in MAME as an additional directory of ROMs.

I appreaciate videos like this, but I can't see the path names and that path dialog is not part of mame so what are you using?

I managed to get this to run. I did Quadra 800 with System 7.1.1. However, I'm confused about something. On the desktop it says there's a hard drive named "machd700mb". Where is this hard drive located on my computer? I cannot find it anywhere. Like, I'm making changes like creating and deleting things, but I have no idea where this gets saved.

EDIT: I found it. Changes to .chd files get saved in the "diff" folder in the MAME directory.
Now I just need to figure out how to get my games on there. I have no idea.

Does anyone know how to get a CHD pack because all the systems and consoles ask me for a CHD, I downloaded one and only the pong runs

Note: I am using the MAME4 Droid 2024 on Android.
