Well, "Phineas and Ferb" is one of the few shows where that didn't happen. It really is a masterpiece.

- Doofenshmirtz recognizes a platypus as a platypus.
- Doofenshmirtz recognizes a fedora as "Perry".
- Doofenshmirtz recognizes a platypus who wears a fedora as "Perry the Platypus", which worries him.
- If a platypus who wears a fedora is wearing something in addition to the fedora, Doofenshmirtz recognize it as a special type of "Perry the Playtpus".
