Depending on the lore it needs to be a specific wood or doesn’t need to be wood at all, Dracula was killed with a Bowie Knife, i think wood was just out of convenience and cost effectiveness. Fun fact allegedly it wasn’t used to kill them but to pin them to their graves

My favorite Dracula is Adam Sandler, the way he pointed out that a Wooden Stake threw the heart would kill anyone when he's asked about that.

The biggest weakness would be, unless you have super strength, it wouldn't be easy to stab a thick shaft of wood through a vampire's rib cage. A knife can slide between the ribs to damage the heart. There's a reason why, in movies, the hunters have to use a mallet to drive the stake into the sleeping vampire's chest.
