Donald Trump releases 'brutal' ad of Kamala Harris 'debating herself'

Social media users are reacting to a new Trump campaign ad that features Kamala Harris "debating" herself, using her past comments on the economy under her and Biden's leadership.

It comes as former US president Donald Trump is threatening to withdraw from a scheduled presidential debate against Kamala Harris.

The two campaigns are at odds on certain rules, including whether or not the microphone should be muted when a candidate isn’t speaking.

Ms Harris’ team believes the microphones should be on at all times, while the former president wants the rules that were previously agreed on.

A spokesperson for the Harris campaign said in a post to X: “Trump should honour his commitment to debate VP Harris on ABC on September 10, and he should reject his handlers’ attempts to muzzle him via a muted microphone.

“The VP is ready to debate Trump live and uncensored. Trump should stop hiding behind the mute button.”

Everyone I know is hurting because of their greed. I have friends having to take at least 2 jobs, sell their cars, sell plasma, give up their medical insurance and go without their medications and treatment because they had to choose the need for food and shelter instead, and yet still live paycheck to paycheck.

This is the absolute WORSE our country has ever been through. Shame on them. Every time she laughs, my blood boils. She thinks this is all a big joke.
