ASTRONEER - Custom Games Update Trailer

This update cracks open Astroneer in a way that allows players to do all sorts of really fun things. From creating new saves with unique characteristics like hardcore permadeath, to setting up exact scenarios and speedruns, the custom game tools added will allow you to make the experience your own and then share them with others.

Update is live on PC, Xbox, and Playstation. Coming soon to Nintendo Switch!

I remember doing my own sort of hard mode during early access by unlocking the shuttle as soon as I could then flying to a different planet, ditching the shuttle and trying to survive and get back to Terran. Did that once for every other planet. So it's very cool that even simple things like starting without a starting shelter will now be possible!

WHY REMOVED TRAINS FROM SERVERS
AS-18141: In Dedicated Server saves, Rail Lines between all Rail Posts, Rail Junctions, and Rail Stations disappear completely. Newly created Rail Anchors cannot make Rail Line connections.

I don’t understand why the trains were removed from the servers, I am writing a petition to return the trains to the servers. The ASTRONEER community does not support this decision and requires the trains to be returned to the servers

Magic game! It's a pity that the games also suffered from

Permadeath mode? I always love playing permadeath modes in games. I feel like hardcore minecraft when I was a kid tempered my soul and made me appreciate things being temporary.
