The City of Tallahassee partners with community agencies and local artists through its Vacant to Vibrant Graffiti to Mural program to transform walls that are frequently tagged with graffiti into beautiful creative expressions. Experience around the world has shown that public art can be an effective way to combat graffiti and blight while beautifying the community and creating a sense of place.

"Once Upon a Daydream" by artist Michael Crowne at the corner of Macomb and Pensacola Street and "Life is Sound" by artist Joherms Quiala Brooks on High Road at Croydon Drive are the newest additions in the Graffiti to Mural program.

I really love the bubble one on High Rd. I saw the artist at the time he was working, and I wanted to pull over to thank him and compliment his art, but it wasn't safe for me to pull over at the time. I hope my comment makes it to his attention!
