Context: The Tenerife Airport Disaster 3/27/1977 For KLM The KLM is Waiting For Pan am And KLM Still waiting but the Pilots Are now Taking off without clearance for Pan am they missed the taxi way. And go another Taxi way and Pan am Saw a KLM so they full powered the throttles But KLM pulling up to early cause to tailstrike and while later its to late the both planes Break apart the KLM broked half the head and tail and fuselage for Pan am they Broke Apart too but they half out the fuselage the Survivors on Pan Am had 61 but KLM has 0 Beacause KLM Broke into pieces while they collided

It was actually also pilot error as the pilot in klm flight was the head pilot at klm and thought he was better than everyone and went without clearance

What happens is that he was in a field trip and couldnt get to the flight on time

Context: KLM 747 was taking off and Pan AM was landing in same direction and the pilot max out throttle and reached flaps up to five and Pan am was taxiing and the pilot can't pull the plane and the ATC can't see Pan am Taxiing because the weather is bad and KLM was take off and accidentally crashed Pan am .

Edit: the main reason was bc of some kind of fight or terrorist attack in the airport both planes had to land in, so they went to this airport(forgot name.😅).

This would’ve never happened if the pilot of the Pan am plane took off be cause he was like really desperate to take off even like yk the other pilot controlling idk much abt planes so maybe co pilot said that the tower wasn’t sure if the runway was clear for take off and 61 people of the pan am survived including the pilot who had a broken spine injury but it’s pretty sad of how selfishnes could cause many deaths 😢 EDIT: no one on delta 747 survived 😢
