Kinger Talks About His Dead Wife [TADC EP.3]

I'm really surprised to see Kinger have this real moment with Pomni, especially considering his usual self in other episodes, but that was surprisingly very touching... the poor guy lost his wife, that's real tragedy for you right there...

So, if one were to finally go off the deep end and abstract,

they won't always injure someone, they're still sentient.

Kaufmo tried to attack Pomni, because he could've seen her as an intruder.. He was panicked, he didn't know what to do.

It’s actually really sad knowing he was the first one in the circus, meaning he watched all his friends abstract, until reaching his wife. Kinger has gone through too much man.

This scene genuinely hit right in the feels. Kinger acting like the father Pomni never had and making sure she doens’t feel similar pain as he did. With his happier moments being in the dark where he usually resides within his pillows to block out his memories and feelings. God man, it’s just so sad and heat warming at the same time.

The thing that hurts the MOST is that part of his wife was still in her, so it’s like watching you’re wife slowly pass away and you getting to feel her for the last time in your life, and they had to go through with being in the darkness for possibly YEARS. I don’t really blame Kinger for being the way he is, what if he’s always so scared and paranoid is that he’s afraid it might happen again, after all it did with Kaufmo and he probably witnessed all his former friends get abstracted so htis really says a lot.

So this scene confirms Kinger had a wife (black chess queen) and most probably, he lost control of his lucid memories at the same time she got abstracted, making the only times he recovers his memories it's in the middle of the darkness.

If he could keep his eyes closed, maybe he could recover some of his memories.

Also, it could make sense he's the programmer of TADC considering his 7 years in computer science, his hate to insects (bugs), his time at the circus and because he's a royal piece of chess, meaning he have a higher position.
