Administrative Law
The video talks about what delegated legislation are and how the executive has the power to authorize and use are accordingly. It further elaborates how they are governed and how it can be branched in various functioning powers. ‘Delegated legislation’ means exercising of legislative power by an agent who is lower in rank to the Legislature, or who is subordinate to the Legislature. Delegated legislation, additionally alluded to as auxiliary legislation, is an enactment made by an individual or body other than Parliament. It discusses the working and reason for the introduction of delegated legislation. Further, why is there a risk in providing executives with complete law-making power?
It also discusses what remedies and defences does a layman has and how can these laws which are made by the executives, be controlled and be governed by the judiciary.
