Rocket Lab launches its 'Catch Me If You Can' mission onboard the Electron rocket carrying the Mesospheric Airglow/Aerosol Tomography and Spectroscopy (MATS) satellite from Launch Complex 1-B in Māhia Peninsula, New Zealand.

MATS is a science research satellite for the Swedish National Space Agency.

This is the 32nd launch of Electron and 2nd attempt at a mid-air helicopter recovery of the first stage.

Unfortunately due to a loss of telemetry in the first-stage, Rocket Lab was unable to perform an aerial recovery of the rocket.
