I came across a disassembled Festool Kapex 120 EB saw with unknown fault and missing/damaged parts. After I diagnosed the core problem and purchased most of the identified missing parts, I resurrected it to perfect working condition again.

Thanks for posting these videos! They were a big help to change the armature on a complicated saw. I don't think I would have attempted this without watching your whole series.

VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. The pistol grip that you replaced was broken by the rubber vacuum collector when it is grabbed by the blade and pulled off. My was broken that way and it looked EXACTLY as yours did. I am sure it is a common accident. I called Festool and their service dept was only willing to say it was not an easy replacement. No help, no advice.. We replaced it, with your help and had some electrical faults.. Lucily we took pics of all the pieces prior to disassemble and finally sorted it out. Again, much thanks to you!
