A Little Princess - written by Frances Hodgson Burnett, first published in 1905. A Bird in a Guilded Cage was one of the most popular songs from that time period. This audio reading was requested by a friend of mine.

Due to the age of the book, I have decided to release the audio on YouTube.

There are numerous film adaptations of the book too. Should you wish to check out any, I highly recommend the 1986 mini-series, thanks to its accuracy and casting. I do not recommend the movie adaptations.
