The 2019 Subaru Ascent is a turbocharged family hauler

Subaru's last attempt at a three-row family SUV didn't go so well. It was called the B9 Tribeca, and it was a total flop. With that failure squarely in the rearview mirror, Subaru is pressing on with its latest family SUV, the eight- (or seven) passenger Ascent.

Well, I like the looks and design of the Tribeca B9 2007.. also the interior on the B9 is amazing compared to that Ascent.. also the front grill on the Ascent is so huge that it looks vulgar..
Also the Tribeca 2012 looks better than this huge Ascent..

Hey Subaru, why is the hood so long for a 4 cylinder?The long hood could house a 6 or 8 ....you could of added a ton of more space( like 6 extra inches) to the interior instead and keep the overall length.

I know someone who has a new Highlander, and I checked it out on the inside. I want Captain's chairs that have a wide enough space in between for adults to get into the third row without having to move the second row forward. I'm really trying to avoid getting a minivan, but when I looked at the Captain's chairs in the Highlander, they were really close together, and there wasn't enough space in between for most adults to scoot through comfortably. Can you comment on how wide the space in between is on this Ascent? Enough for adults to shuffle into the third row without moving the seat forward? We've got 2 kids, and need 2 car seats currently. It would be nice if another passenger or two could tag along with us on trips without having to take a second vehicle. Currently, we have a Forester, and there is absolutely no room for another passenger with the car seats installed.

Wouldn't it be nice if Subaru offered the diesel turbo and maybe even a manual transmission? Nah not in America where some bean counter told Subaru that there is no market for such options.
