Additional fun fact: Their blood is also a very deep bright blue! They weirded me out when i was a kid and would see them in tide pool ponds, but i've grown to appreciate their freaky prehistoric but wonderful nature. Thankfully they've figured out ways to synthesize the antibodies in their blood so live harvesting isn't as large as it used to be.
