1) So you know before you start: This is a modular - not a one-piece - origami project.
2) You don't necessarily need to start with A4 paper. What you need is one small square for each spike in the crown. How you get those can be by any method or any size paper. For example, you could cut square origami paper into smaller squares
> The video shows cutting up A4 paper into squares that are approximately 4 inches (105 mm). If you want to do the calculations (to be more economical), you can cut 6 slightly smaller squares from one sheet of A4 paper.
> You may need to adjust the number of spikes (or the size of the squares) for the crown to fit the recipient's head.
3) In the video, actual folding begins at approx 1:55.

This is cool, this can be customized with things on the outside, which I find cool. All and all, this is a good design for a crown. Plus it's easy to follow.

I only had one piece of paper cuz it’s late and I don’t wanna leave my room and wake others in my house but I can’t sleep and had the urge to do origami. The crown is great even with only 4 spikes tho(iza mini crown ^v^)
