Since A and B are natural, the problem can easily be solved by the Pythagorean Theorem. a² = b² + 6², therefore A is the hypotenuse, B is a side, and 6 is another side. 6 is a multiple of 3, and remembering that 3, 4 and 5 is a right triangle, we conclude that the subsequent side B is 8 and the hypotenuse A is worth 10.

To have a natural number both factors must be even or odd. Odd factors don't exist with 36.Hence, 18 & 2 are only feasible under the condition

1.因數分解不夠有系統!
應該是36*1, 18*2, 12*3, 9*4然後是6*6(不合),以後的都可以捨去!!

Геометрическое решение: переносим "в" в квадрате в правую часть и получаем теорему Пифагора, тогда получается что "а" это гипотенуза а "в и корень из 36 это катеты", 36 это 6 в квадрате, а 6 это 2 умножить на 3 . Знаем египетский треугольник с катетами 3 и 4 и с гипотенузой 5. У нас такой же но с коэффициентом 2, поэтому а=10 а в=8.

As 36 is a square of an even number therefore and only 18×2 is such a pair of even numbers therefore we may get them as {(18+2)×(18-2)}/2=20/2 × 16/2=10 and 8 = a and b is (10)^2 -(8)^2=36

Actually, all four cases give "a" and "b" that satisfy a^2 - b^2 = 36. whether they are "natural" numbers or not.

If the condition had been (a+b)>=(a-b), you would have had two more solutions: 6, 0 and -6, 0.

(a+b)(a-b)=9x4是正确的答案。
a+b=9 a-b=4 两组相加得出:a=13/2 两组相减得出:b=5/2 。a的平方减去b的平方等于13/2的平方减去5/2的平方等于169/4减去25/4。得出144/4, 即答案是36。完全正确。
