How to change the language of my document? | Word 2007

Go to the ribbon under Review tab and Proofing section. Click on "Set Language" to choose the appropriate language. Click "OK" if you are satisfied with the selection.

Many thanks for this. This is one of those stupid things that has irritated my most of my life and I have not found the solution until now. I work in 3 languages and it is a real pain at times.

But his only changes the language for the document that one time. Do you know how to change it, so every time you open up Word, it's set as the 'other' language, you want it to be?
