How to plant bare root Lily of the Valley

Hi ..I Planted this 3 weeks ago, with bare root white part showing out the top soil..I don't know if its growing..I mean what are the signs it's growing?

I found a bare root Lily of the Valley in my Gma's house from an Ernst Hardware store. Remember them? The date is 23 years ago. I put it in a pot. What do you think the chances are? 😊

i was so happy when i saw some at the store and promptly bought a bunch, so i could share with some of my friends my thrill, one sprouted out and a couple of leaves grew and now the little one is yellowing and none of the other roots seem to be growing. I must have planted them to low under the :-( does it need to be only in the shade?? i am in Hawaii and it gets some latish afternoon sun.... ow much water does it like ?? thank you !!!

I was pleasantly surprised to find our local Tractor Supply already has the flowering perennials out in the boxes and some have even started to sprout. well, instead of reading the instructions I planted my bleeding hearts, clematis and lilac shrubs in pots to keep in my house until after the last frost in May. Will they survive in my house this early in the season?
