Yes, Matt, I used this technique last year after watching this video.
I had 20 cambridge favourite, and 20 unnamed variety that I got off of eBay, and they all overproduced my other plants dramatically.
It was as if they were 2 year plants.
Really appreciate the video.
My kids were buzzing 👊

I'm new to gardening and picked up some strawberry plants to get me started with some fruit as they're easy to maintain. I have some normal strawbs I bought that were already flowering and fruiting - but I wanted to try some strange varieties like pineberries and strasberries, so I ordered some bare roots of them as they were all I could find. I knew not to bury the crown but I wasn't really sure how deep to do it. This video really helped a beginner a lot! thank you!

I really like the thought of having some early strawberries for Easter. I think I will try a few pots. They can stay in the cold frame over winter and then come into the house on the window sill. Though I shall have to be careful not to cook them.

You made potting look very easy Matthew. When I plant my strawberry plants I can never get the depth right roots are showing.

Would you recommend soaking rooted plants before planting? I've been recommended to do that but i didn't see you do that.

I have strawberries in my garden that I planted from runners. Should I cut the leaves off them?
