When I say my eyes are hooded, this is not what I mean

people commenting who have stronger hooded eyes, the secret is to just draw a straight line from your outer corner. DONT go upwards in a typical wing shape, just go straight out. if you angle it right your eyelid won't get in the way, and it'll make your eyes look bigger.

i typically do this with a really thin line because i prefer a more natural look, but if you want to make it thicker, you can actually draw the typical cat eye triangle using the straight line and connecting it to your lower lash line instead of the top. just don't go down too far or it'll look droopy (unless that's what you're going for, it can be cute too!)

There are ways to do great winged liner on hooded eyes that don't require a weird triangle. Smith Deepak has great tutorials on this.

lol I love it when people with no hooded eyes try sharing techniques. my hood is not a 90° shelf, no matter how high you bring that wing up it's still gonna round down.

One of my eyes have more hooded eyelid, I don’t have the worst case of hooded eyes but still I understood that just a cat eyeliner is NOT FOR ME. I tried a puppy liner and I noticed it matches my eyes perfectly and because my eyes are upturned the puppy liner doesn’t give me the „sad” look. Remember, you are never a problem! It’s just the thing that you are trying to fit to the wrong eyeliner style. I recommend to you trying different eyeliner styles, I tried and it made me feel much better about the type of eyes I have.

I have one not slightly hooded (not to hooded, still ok) eye and the other one... god COMPLETELY hooded, it just rare for the covered lid to be seen in wild 🙂👍🏽 I just don't buy eyeliner ... even if I try but still my eyes tremble like mega earthquake, I just gave up
