FM Records is one of the largest and most important independent Greek music labels. It was founded in 1987 and has perhaps the most versatile musical back catalogue in the country, which includes famous Greek composers (Mikis Theodorakis etc.), traditional repertoire (rebetika, folk, music from the islands, ancient Greek music, etc.), electronic music (Stereo Nova etc.), hip hop (Imiskoumbria, Going Through, Terror X Crew etc.), Greek pop & rock (Endelehia, Ipogia Revmata etc.), world music (Nicos, Vasilis Saleas, Goran Bregovic, Vangelis etc.) as well as many recent releases by young and talented Greek artists.

The highlights of its catalogue are Mikis Theodorakis’ Zorba the Greek and other OSTs, Ancient Greek music, Rebetiko and Syrtaki music, Mediterranean and other World / Ethnic music as well as Children’s Music & Animation. Among the 30.000 songs of the catalogue there are many instrumentals, which are perfectly suited and available for synchronisation opportunities, with many of these songs included in well known films, documentaries and TV ads. The company also specializes in physical & digital distribution.

This year, FM Records celebrates its 30th Birthday with a compilation of 30 instrumental tracks, composed for the occasion, from various well-known Greek composers as a tribute to the company’s significance and influence on the Greek and international music scene.
