Did you know that in COCO... The conductor is based on composer Michael Giacchino -- who created the music for the film. The animators slipped him in without telling him -- and it was a big surprise to him at the premiere.

I got a tour of Pixar 2-3 years before coco was announced. There was this one section we were not allowed into and was told it’s for a secret movie they are working on but we could see all these Mexican day of the dead decorations. Coco was pushed because of the book of life. But then years after our tour my dad’s friend at Pixar told us the secret movies trailer was dropped with the release of a different movie and the secret project ended up being coco
