Hi, I’m Alli!

I’ve been making videos on this channel since June 2014, but I’ve been watching youtube videos for much longer ;). Before starting this channel as my creative outlet, I was in a major rut and thought the challenge of making a video every week would help. I'm happy to report that it did! Making Youtube videos is now my favorite hobby and I’m excited to see where it can take me in the future.

On this channel, I share my journey toward a capsule wardrobe, travel videos, home decor projects, healthy recipes, natural beauty recommendations, and more! My husband (Nick) and I are also documenting the renovation of our 1974 dodge travco motorhome: lovingly referred to as the Cherry Travco!

I'm the same way when it comes to stuff I bring into my space. I volunteer at a thrift store so we get a lot of amazing things and it can get really easy to be swept up in the extra 20% discount but I found a beautiful hand carved box for my perfumes/essential oils and it's just so nice to be hyper selective (even if I do manage to find one thing I bring home every week).

As an estate sale junkie, I feel the same way exactly. When I was younger, I would just buy things that caught by eye/were cheap, But have found some of my most favorite things when being selective :) That pot and shelf is amazing!

I love going to estate sales they are so much fun! I hardly ever buy anything but I still like going because you never know if you might find that special something. I also love antique shops. I'd rather buy vintage objects and furniture than new. Better quality. Love your finds!

Love your haul. With my dad in the military we lived in Paris & Germany. I grew up at flea markets and "collected" everything. As an adult I continued my obsession with no rhyme or reason so now I have so much stuff it's not good. Thanks to watching your videos I can now go through my stash with more of a discerning eye. Plans to open an etsy store to recoup some $. In the future I will take your advice and have a purpose, place and spark before I bring it into my home.

I'm pretty sure what you said was a milk jug is actually a coffee maker! You put the filter in the top cone and manually pour boiling water over it :)

That enamel pot is Finnish, Finel by Arabia. Google it, they have some gorgeous stuff. Great find!

I'm trying to figure out a way to sell all/most of my stuff. If you have ideas about that, it would make a great video, as I'm sure others are interested. I'd like your viewpoint, because there's something sincere and calm about you, and you have so much integrity.

That pot was an awesome find! And the map that says give a hoot don't pollute, LOL. I have a pillow that says that. I'm always on the look out for a good estate sale and every time you have a new haul I get so much more excited to try and explore more.

I'm pretty sure that enamel pot is an Arabia Finel pot by Kaj Franck. They fetch a really good price on Etsy.
