Both the Prime Minister and Keir Starmer are promising cheaper gas and electricity bills with the Labour leader saying his government would set up 'Great British Energy', a publicly owned energy company to invest in clean UK power. He says this 'ought to bring down household bills by about £400'.

We need a new way of doing things, that removes private investment. The system does not work. We need to work for the good of all, not the few. We all live on the same planet, yet people are concerned with making money, and war. We should be thinking how we can create a world that supports and nurishes all life. Just look at the destruction and suffering around us, not just to man, but nature and animals. How can we continue to promote and support this way. It has to stop.
